The Devon Colour Palette Placemat

Devon Foodie Gifts – Colourful Placemats for Devon Kitchens and Dining Tables

Cream teas, fresh seafood, farm shops, local produce and plenty of places where lunch comes with a sea view. Devon is a pretty good county if you like your food.

The Devon Colour Palette Placemat brings six stories from around the county to the dining table, making it a colourful and practical gift for Devon foodies, home cooks and anyone who loves the South West.

At 20 x 28cm, it has a smooth gloss surface with rounded corners and a cork backing to help protect your table from spills, hot plates and the general aftermath of a good meal.

And yes, Cream Tea gets its own colour. It would have been rude not to.

Six Colours Inspired by Devon

Verity Bronze – for Damien Hirst’s eye-catching statue in Ilfracombe.

Saunton Sand – for the epic beaches on the North Devon coast.

Cream Tea – for the world-famous afternoon tea.

Hooken Cliffs – for dramatic scenery and fossil hunting.

Clovelly Cobbles – for the harbour village’s steep, cobbled main street.

Brixham Blue – for its lovely harbour and English Riviera sky.

From North Devon beaches to Brixham harbour, the six swatches turn places, traditions and landscapes into a piece of colourful Devon homeware.

Gifts for Devon Foodies, New Homes and Holiday Cottages

The placemat makes a particularly good Devon foodie gift, whether you’re buying for a keen cook, a cream tea enthusiast or someone whose favourite meals tend to involve a view of the sea.

It’s also a great Devon housewarming gift or addition to a holiday cottage, coastal home, Airbnb or beach house. Buy one as a colourful table setting or put together a set for family breakfasts, long lunches and dinners after a day on the coast.

And if cream tea is on the menu, I’ll leave the jam-or-cream-first debate to you.
