Stoke-on-Trent Gifts, Wall Art and Colourful Potteries Souvenirs
Six towns, one city and a story shaped by clay, kilns, craftsmanship, football and the humble oatcake.
The Stoke-on-Trent Colour Palette brings together six colours inspired by the people, places and industries that have made the Potteries famous. Available across mugs, coasters, framed and unframed wall art and colourful fridge magnets, the collection makes a distinctive Stoke-on-Trent gift for proud Stokies, former residents and anyone with a connection to the city.
And with Stoke-on-Trent’s extraordinary ceramics heritage, putting the design on a mug seemed particularly appropriate.
Six Colours. Six Stoke-on-Trent Stories.
Jasperware Blue – The unmistakable pale blue of Josiah Wedgwood’s Jasperware, perfected in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1770s and now recognised around the world.
Trentham Grass – Inspired by the lawns and historic gardens of Trentham, one of Stoke-on-Trent’s best-loved green spaces.
Cake Oat – The warm, oaty shade of the Staffordshire oatcake, Stoke’s much-loved local speciality and a proper Potteries institution.
Potteries Clay – A nod to the clay beneath the Potteries, the raw material that helped Stoke-on-Trent become the world capital of ceramics.
Wizard Red – Celebrating Stoke-born Sir Stanley Matthews, the footballing genius whose dazzling footwork earned him the nickname The Wizard of the Dribble.
Bottle Kiln Brick – Inspired by the deep Staffordshire brick of Stoke’s unmistakable bottle kilns, which once dominated the skyline of the six towns and remain enduring symbols of the Potteries.
Together, they make a colourful snapshot of Stoke-on-Trent: Wedgwood and bottle kilns, Trentham and Stanley Matthews, clay and oatcakes.
Choose a Stoke-on-Trent mug for the morning brew, colourful coasters or a fridge magnet for a smaller gift, or Stoke-on-Trent wall art, available framed or unframed, for a bigger reminder of the Potteries.
A bit of Stoke for the home. Oatcakes sold separately.
