In searching for great Durham art and scenery for this colour palette, we were taken aback by the level of charm this city has. Durham, in our books is the gem of the North; we needed to illustrate that through carefully selected colours. Blue features heavily coming from the river but also signifies trust and loyalty. In a town with a history dating back 2000 years, these traits comprise the old feeling of this historical town. You don’t visit Durham and not see the marvellous Cathedral, which is even more special once you hear the legend of the mist that came to save it in its hour of need.
