About Us & Design Registration
The Colour Palette Company was founded by Birmingham designer and writer Stacey Barnfield, whose first colour palette for his home city lit up social media when it was shared in January 2021.
Stacey is passionate about great design and typography and how it can be accessible, celebratory and most of all, fun.
The Colour Palette Company shows off the areas we call home through a now-familiar gradient of colour swatches, each with a warming reference to the people and places that make our towns, cities and counties so cool.
When we apply this to art prints, mugs, tote bags and more, it makes for a wonderful selection of gifts to remind of a lovely holiday or home city.
Working with designers and writers across the UK enables us to research locations thoroughly to ensure a selection of unique or quirky, world-famous or hidden gem on each palette.
As large format installations our palettes have been seen by thousands in Grand Central, the retail destination above New Street station in Birmingham, and at Royal Leamington Spa railway station. Unique colour palettes have also been commissioned as one-off gifts for special occasions and events.
We hope you enjoy our colour palettes but if you can’t find your city just yet, bear with us, we’re a small team and we’re working hard to create new locations all the time.
