Six colours that say autumn
There’s a point every year when you notice it.
The light changes.
The evenings become a little more golden. Leaves start appearing on the pavement. You pick up the first conker without really knowing why.
And suddenly autumn is on its way.
I wanted the Autumn Colour Palette to capture that change in six colours.
Sunset Glow starts us off with the warm gold of fading daylight.
Maple Gold brings the leaves. That brilliant yellow that can make even an ordinary walk look ridiculously good.
Then comes Pumpkin Spice, because there was absolutely no way I was creating an autumn palette without an orange.
Bonfire Flame takes things deeper and redder, inspired by glowing embers, sparks and November nights.
Dahlia Crimson celebrates one of those glorious late-season colours that hangs around as everything else begins to fade.
And finally, Conker Brown. Deep, polished chestnut brown and possibly the only colour inspired by something you instinctively pick up from the pavement and put in your pocket.
Together, they make a gradient that feels unmistakably autumn.
Warm. Earthy. Rich. A little nostalgic.
And very good wrapped around a coffee mug.
