We’re absolutely thrilled to share news of our latest commission – a bespoke Sheffield Colour Palette, created especially for the new ‘Colour’ exhibition at Millennium Gallery, part of Sheffield Museums.

The exhibition is a beautifully curated celebration of how colour shapes the way we see and experience the world, through art, science, design, and emotion. So when we were invited to contribute our own take on Sheffield’s identity through colour, we jumped at the chance.

The result? A vibrant new palette that tells Sheffield’s story, one colour at a time.

There’s Kelham Island Brick, a warm and earthy red that nods to the city’s industrial heritage and one of its most exciting neighbourhoods, known for steel, fine food, and great beer.

Relish Orange adds a bold, unmistakable splash – because no Sheffield palette would be complete without paying homage to the greatest of condiments. End of.

Steel City Grey grounds the collection in what Sheffield is built on – its world-famous steel industry that shaped not only the skyline, but the city’s global reputation.

Park Hill Pastel brings in the soft hues of architectural ambition, inspired by Sheffield’s iconic Park Hill development – a landmark that stands today as a powerful symbol of regeneration and pride.

Winter Garden Green offers calm and serenity, drawn from the city’s lush, glass-canopied oasis filled with exotic plants, right in the heart of the urban buzz.

And finally, Tram Blue captures the rhythm of daily life – Sheffield’s beloved trams that have been gliding through its streets since the 1990s, connecting communities with every stop.

These colours are now available to take home as part of an exclusive product range at the Millennium Gallery, including tote bags, mugs and more, perfect for locals, visitors, and anyone who wants to carry a little piece of Sheffield with them.

We’re so proud to be part of this unique exhibition and to celebrate Sheffield’s culture, character and creativity through colour.
