I have a theory that you can never have too many coasters. Mainly because whenever I need one, somebody has moved it.

The Colour Palette Coaster takes one of our six-colour designs and turns it into a small, useful piece of colour for your desk, coffee table, bedside table or wherever your mug tends to follow you around.

I started The Colour Palette Company because I love looking at places, taking photographs and finding the colours and stories hidden in everyday things. Our coasters are probably the simplest way to own one of those designs. Six colours, six stories and a little reminder of somewhere or something that means something to you.

The Dublin Colour Palette:

Black Stuff Black: Guinness is almost certainly Dublin’s most famous export, and the popular stout’s origins date back to Arthur Guinness, who founded the St James’s Gate Brewery in 1759. The rest is history, and with its distinct black and white colour, it remains Ireland’s best known beer the world over.

Liffey Water: The River Liffey flows through the centre of Dublin before it reaches Dublin Bay, and the many bridges which cross it include O’Connell bridge which is wider than it is long.
