The Durham mug brings to life the charming nature and wandering waterways of the best-kept secret of the North. Durham's history goes back a long way, so we decided it needed reference to young and old alike.

Durham boasts the second oldest Regatta in the country which can be watched from the delightful banks of the River Wear. Both are encompassed on this palette by different shades of blue.

Most notably in Durham stands the Cathedral but only thanks to a mysterious mist. We also had to pay homage to the huge coal mining industry and the political unions that stemmed from this. This mug makes for an excellent gift for those who live there or for those who want to take a part of Durham away with them.

The Colour Palette Company is committed to bringing to life areas of cultural significance and bringing them back home. By stitching specific colour swatches together, we can get a real sense of why the area means so much to us. We have learned that colours have a fantastic ability to transport us through the memories we hold for these areas.
